Destination Wedding Cancun: Day 3

Got up at 6 am to meet up with my girlfriend who was coming in on a red eye flight.

Since it was so early in the morning no one was up yet. So we waited until the pool was finished being cleaned so that we can get a photo opportunity while the pool was empty.

Headed for an early breakfast. Got the idea of putting the waffles through the toaster from my brother Peter who made his own cheesy hash browns with the Panini press.

Headed back to the room to go back to sleep.

Got up around 1 pm so that Tammy could do Anastasia's hair and makeup for her wedding.

I haven't seen an Iguana the entire trip until I headed to the couples villa.

While Tammy was getting Anastasia ready I headed to the pool until it was time to get ready for the wedding.

 Peter no like picture.

Peter's impression of Planet of the Apes.

I really like this picture cause it looks like Anastasia kicked Angela in the face.

Cocktail hour!

Tammy caught the bouquet but Angela trying to steal it.

Linh opted for the saxophone guy and he was awesome.

After cocktail hour it was time for the reception at La Parrilla Steak House.

They offered an appetizer and dessert buffet.

Ordered the rib eye as my entree. It was pretty good.

Wedding cake was pretty tasty.

After dinner we had about 2-3 hours of down time. So everyone took a quick rest and reconvened back in the lobby at 10:30 pm so that we can head to CoCo Bongo

Linh ended booking a Diamond table for the entire wedding party.

I had heard about CoCo Bongo before, but didn't know what to expect. It was an amazing experience. Great music, awesome performance and lot and lots of alcohol.

First show was 300 themed.

It was packed. I was glad Linh booked a table, cause I would not wanted to be in that crowd.

Madonna show.

The table was $1,500-1,700 for up to 15 people and was totally worth it. The cost of the table is converted into table credit. So pretty much we had $1500 worth of table credit to spend on whatever we wanted.

I believe this is 4.5 liters of Grey Goose. $800

Queen show.

Beyonce show.

Pirates of the Caribbean show.

They would have a show then the DJ would play a few songs between each show.

Michael Jackson

Around 2:30 am the show ends, but the party continues until 4 am. The DJ plays on the main stage for the rest of the night.

It was a freaking blast. I highly recommend you check out CoCo Bongo at least once and would recommend getting a table for sure.

A few of us took a cab back to Iberostar. Jarvis and Angela had a flight at 6 am and I went to the beach to throw up again. What a great night!
