13th Annual Halloween Trip Day 4: Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles and Roasting Water.

We got up early, packed our things, tidied up the house, and checked out. Headed off to Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles near Disneyland for lunch.

Arnold Palmer, but they call it Lisa's Delight on the menu.

Big Mamma Special: scrambled eggs w/ cheese & onions, served with potatoes smothered in gravy.

Obama's Special: three wings, served with choice of waffle, potato salad, or fries.

Herb's Special: 1/2 fried chicken smothered in gravy w/ two waffles.

Tammy's mom loves fruits. So we headed to the Asian market to look for some. On the way, we stopped by Roasting Water for from bubble tea.

Headed back to Downtown Disney to meet up with the rest of the group for some shopping before we head home.

That ends this trip. 13 years we've been doing this and I look forward to it every year.

Where to next? Actually, we'll be heading back to the Disney parks again, but only for a day. We'll visit a few friends and explore the surrounding cities a bit more instead.

Stay tuned.

13th Annual Halloween Trip Day 3: DCA & Disneyland

Headed back to the Disney parks for another round. Got dropped off at Downtown Disney instead because of the long security line yesterday. It was way less crowded on this day.

Maleficent Frappuccino: Blueberry & Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino, blended with diced dragon fruit topped with match tea whipped cream. Tasted like a fruity ice cream shake.

Dr. Facilier Elixir: layers chia tea and lemonade, topped with a splash of passion fruit tea.

We stopped by for the Character Close Up with Elsa & Anna

Jaylyn and Amanda with similar kicks.

Lots of songs playing while we were waiting in line to keep the kids busy.

Jaylyn's emotional rollercoaster meeting Queen Elsa.

Headed to Guardians of the Galaxy for our first FastPass.

My Bugs! My Bugs! limeade slush with cherry syrup and gummy worms.

Forgot what this one was called, but it was hard apple cider with a cinnamon whiskey.

Supernatural Spirit: cotton candy vodka and cotton candy lemonade with a glow cube.

cotton candy melts rather quickly.

The Backlot Michelada.

Nachos- it was delicious.

Ice Coffee.

Chicken Drumstick Box from Poultry Palace. I got it because I really liked the box.

The chicken was juicy, but a bit greasy. It tasted like shake n' bake. The coleslaw wasn't that good either.

Our group split up for a bit. Some went on rides, others watched the parade, and some of us went for drinks.

Lobster Nachos.

Thought Jaylyn would enjoy Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. It's been a while since I've stopped by here.

Green Apple Spell Lemonade.

Used our FastPass for Soarin over California. Then headed over to Cars Land for some snacks.

Cozy Corn: buttered corn on the cob brushed with spicy lime mayo, topped with spicy cheese puff.

Elote was so good. Sweet corn, mayo, parmesan cheese, & tajin.

Next Fastpass was for RSR

I really thought I had a good chance at winning this time, but nope. Another loss, I feel like I always have bad luck on this ride.

DCA was closing early for the Halloween Event. So we headed back to Disneyland.

I've been saving my appetite for a burger at Galactic Grill.

Secret Menu, Galactic Burger aka: Alien style burger. It's not listed on the menu but you can order it and they will know what it is. It's a burger with fries, grilled onions, thousand island sauce, and cheese. People say it's like an In n Out burger with animal style fries on top. It was delicious and I will definitely order it again.

Headed back to Galaxy's Edge so we can try the blue and green milk. I'm not a fan of either of them, but if I had to choose the blue milk is better.

This time around we had more time to explore Galaxy's Edge.

We ended up at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe for some snacks and to grab a table for Halloween Screams show.

Arendelle Aqua Macaron

Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake

Firefly Chips: Fritos chips, chili, cheese, and jalapeno.

This was our first time seeing the Halloween Screams show. I thought it was okay.

After the show, we called it a day and headed out.

That's it for day 3. Tomorrow it's time to pack our stuff and head out.
