Burntzilla, Shin-Sen-Gumi, & OPM

The next morning we headed out for lunch. Went to my friend's cousin's restaurant Burntzilla. They sell a variety of sliders, mini hot dogs and tater tots.

House made peach sweet tea.

The pork belly slider was the special slider for the day.

Carne Asada tots.

I got the golden combo, which consist of a choice of two items, a side and drink for only $9. I got the pork belly slider, fried chicken slider, and ordered an extra spicy chili dog and regular tots.

Son and I was still recovering from the night before, so we headed back to the house for a nap before we go out again for the night.

We ended up having dinner at Shin-Sen-Gumi Robata Yakitori.

Let the drinking begin.

Sauteed Foie Gras! So decadent and delicious.

Unagi stickey rice.

Agedashi tofu.

Fried cheese.

Fried chicken skin

Spicy potatoes

Miso butter fish.

Pork belly & bacon wrapped quail eggs.

Crab croquette.

Roasted corn with butter.

Shin Sen Gumi pizza and some more Yakitori.

Son's the girl in the red shirt.

Didn't get to take a picture of all the food because the food was being devoured faster than I could snap pics, but here's our entire order. We ordered a lot of food and the bill was a lot lower than I expected.

After dinner some of our friends left for the airport. The rest of us headed to OPM Restaurant & Lounge.

Didn't get a chance to try any of their food, but only had drinks.

Our friends were here earlier for brunch and it was really busy. On a Sunday night not so much.

Alex tying the knot. Day 1

Our friend Alex moved to SoCal and was getting married. So we turned our wedding trip into a mini vacation.

We had the earliest flight available 7:10 am

Our flight ended up getting delayed for almost 2 hours. Might as well have some breakfast.

We finally touched down around 10 am.

We were all staying at my buddies home in Westminster. After settling in we headed off for lunch.

All you can eat Korean BBQ.

Korean dishes are accompanied by many side dishes, consisting of a few pickled veggies.

Lunch time cocktails!

After lunch we headed to the Asian market to pick up some Cognac. They had some people there promoting Hennessy. Got some free Hennessy money clips out of it and three dollars off per bottle.

Got back to Son's house and had some blood sausage, beer & Cognac.

This guy is not having blood sausage, beer or Cognac.

Here Peter is paying his escort that he rented for the trip. He didn't want to go to the wedding solo.

Another one bites the dust.

Eventually it was time to get ready for the wedding.
