Maui day 2: Don & Amanda Wedding

Whenever I see someone post or wearing a shirt " I woke up like this" this is what I picture.

A few of us slept in pretty late. The rest of the group got up early and headed out for breakfast at Slappy Cakes

So we headed to 808 Grindz Cafe

Rainbow French Toast

Spam loco moco with fried rice... so good.

Macadamia Nut pancakes with MacNilla sauce, not too sweet and super tasty.

Kalbi short rib loco moco.

Across the street was a Hilo Hattie store so we stopped by to shop around.

Got back to the hotel and everyone was at the pool. So we got some beers and headed to the pool. I've been wanting a Corona with Li Hing Mui powder. Mission accomplished.

Pretty burned a few hours at the pool until it was time to get ready for the wedding.

The wedding was held at Merriman's Kapalua and what a great venue it was.

When we arrived it was nice and sunny.

but then the clouds started to roll in.

It rained a bit and delayed the wedding about 30 minutes, but eventually the weather let up and it was great for the remainder of the day.

I'm liking these very short ceremonies. Right after it was open bar!

Merriman's Mai Tai with Honey Lilikoi foam..It was amazing!

Hunted down the newly weds to snap a few pics before the rest of the crowd found them.

After cocktail hour it was dinner time. Everyone's table assignment was a glass of champagne with their name and table number on a custom stir stick.

Your assigned seat was reserved with your very own custom wood name.

Before dinner was served my brother's were pretty drunk.

After the wedding headed back to our hotel and called it a night. Had to wake up early the next morning and catch a flight to Oahu for another wedding.

That ends day 2.

Tomorrow it's off to Oahu.
