Hawaii 2024 Day 2: North Shore, Da Bald Guy, 7-11

There's a small cafe Banyan Breeze located in building were staying at. They make some good coffee, homemade baked goods, and sandwiches.
A friend of mine recommended that I check out Da Bald Guy Which is a food truck located in North Shore. So we decided to make a day out of it. It was over an hour to get there.
Tera was mentioning how she was trying to buy a fresh coconut on her previous trip but couldn't find any. So on the way to North Shore, we saw a truck selling fresh coconuts.
They had to crack open 4 coconuts to get enough coco water to make it. Got a lot of coconut meat outta it though.
Made a pit stop to do a diaper change and it just so happened to be the Polynesian Cultural Center
I've never been here before and it's pretty nice. There's a lot of food stalls offering a variety of goods.
There was a stall here offering fresh coconut and pineapple.
We eventually made it to the food truck. It wasn't too crowded. The food truck is located in the same area as the original Giovani's Shrimp Truck.
We took our food to-go and headed to a nearby beach to hang out.
Garlic shrimp plate. It was pretty good.
Chopped Steak Plate - it was average, nothing special about it.
Pan Fried Poke Plate- my friend seemed to enjoy this.
I thought the food from Da Bald Guy was okay, if you're in the area it's worth a visit but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
We hung out at the beach for a while and then headed back. Viet has been wanting to try spam musubi from 7-11 cause he heard it's cheap and pretty good. So we stopped by a location on the way back. He also got a butter mochi-flavored slurpee.
The slurpee was not bad, but the musubi was pretty good honestly.
We got back, napped and hung out at the Airbnb for the evening.
