Oahu Hawaii day 5: Leonard's Bakery, Koko Head Cafe, Yoshoku Bistro

We had jumped on the waitlist for breakfast at Koko Head Cafe there was an hour wait, so we headed to Leonard's Bakery to get some fresh Malasadas. I've never eaten them freshly made and John was raving about how good they are when they're freshly made. So we snagged a spot in front of the bakery and there was a really long line outside. We ate them in the parking lot as soon as possible and they were delicious.
When we got to Koko Head Cafe for our suggested waitlist time, there was still quite a long wait after we checked in.
Beer Driver- Vodka, OJ, and beer
Dumpling of the day: Fried meatloaf with pork & beef pomme puree, topped with zesty demi-glaze.
Breakfast Bibimbap- bacon, Portuguese sausage, heritage ham, kimchi, soy-mirin shitake mushrooms, ong choy, sesame carrots, bean sprouts, sunny up egg, served over crispy garlic rice in a hot skillet.
Breakfast Congee- rice porridge, bacon, Portuguese sausage, heritage ham, local farm-fresh soft poached egg, cheddar cheese, scallions, cinnamon-bacon croutons.
Fresh Rambutan from the farmers market.
We eventually made our way back to Yoshoku Bistro so I can finally try Omurice.
Iced coffee float
Tomato cream croquette
Kids Plate- Omurice, mini hamburger streak. potato salad, sausage, Napolitan spaghetti
Garlic shrimp
Beef Katsu
Combo plate- Fried black shrimp, hamburger steak, croquette, omurice w/ demi-glaze, spaghetti.

So I finally got to try Omurice and honestly it was okay. The eggs were cooked very well. They were runny and soft but I just felt it lacked flavor. At least I finally satisfied my curiosity.
Jaylyn loved playing hairstylist with Tammy's hair.
and then it kinda got out of control.
After lunch, we walked around Waikiki to do some shopping.
Jaylyn wanted Tammy to sport her new hairdo. So here we are in the Prada store.
We used to stop by YSL every year cause they always had 20% off the entire store, but since the pandemic, they have reduced it to 10%. So we went to Valentino instead since they are one of the few luxury brands left that are still offering a 20% discount.
After a bit of shopping, we stopped by the convenience store to pick up some more drinks and hung out at John's condo for the remaining night.
We ended up drinking until 3 in the morning.

I know I'm going to pay for it tomorrow, but I'll let my future self deal with it.
