Oahu Hawaii Day 6 & 7: Waimanalo Beach, Maguro Brothers, Side Street Inn, Helena's, Samurai Inc.

We went for another beach day at Waimanalo Beach. We stopped by Teddy's Bigger Burger to get some food for the beach.

I was so hungover I didn't have an appetite. I just napped in the tent for a while.
I finally felt a lot better after a nap. I brought a portable beach game with me. It's kinda like cornhole, but a lot more portable.
Jaylyn and Jayceon made some friends on the beach.
When we got back to our condo the store informed Tammy that her item had arrived.
John was raving about the poke from Ono Seafood he had earlier on the trip. They were closed on Sunday and Monday and Tammy was craving poke so we stopped by Maguro Brothers to give them a try.
Shoyu onion Ahi
Spicy Mayo Salmon. I don't really care for poke, but this was really good, especially with the sushi rice.
For dinner, we decided on Side Street Inn. We've dined here many times and the food is always really good.
Crispy fried chicken gizzards
Popcorn chicken and fries
Bone-in Kalbi
The Works fried rice- bacon, Portuguese sausage, char siu, kimchee, Chinese sausage.
Side Street signature garlic chicken.
After dinner, we headed back to slowly pack our things to get ready to fly home tomorrow.

The next morning we had lunch at Helena's Hawaiian Food. They've been closed the whole time we've been in Hawaii due to short staffing and they just happened to reopen on the day we were leaving.
Pipikaula short-ribs.
Fried butterfish collar
Our last stop before the airport was Samurai for some soft-serve ice cream.
Strawberry & blue vanilla, Chocolate Malt.
Got to the airport pretty early so we headed to the airport lounge.
While John and Robyn were shopping Jaylyn wanted to go with Tammy to the lounge. She enjoyed picking out all the free snacks and drinks.
That ends this trip.

Where to next?

We're heading to San Diego. Going to visit the San Diego Zoo for the first time.
