Cancun 2022 Day 3: Xavage Park

I order breakfast to be delivered at 6am the night before. That way if we overslept room service would wake us up.
Apparently, as everyone was getting ready, Brandon saw Son holding a piece of paper and asked where he got that from. Son replied that it was a printout of the ticket that we all prepurchased before the trip. Brandon's reply: we were supposed to buy tickets? LOL.

Brandon tried to buy tickets online but the website wouldn't let him purchase tickets for the same day. I suggested that he check the ticket kiosk at the hotel. The kiosk person said he could buy tickets for the park but couldn't get him on the bus due to limited seating. He would have to take a taxi. Fortunately, the park is located about 10 mins from the airport. I thought the park was far away like Xplor and Xelha. If I had known that the park was that close I would have just taken a taxi instead of adding transportation to our ticket purchase.

We got to the park at opening time.
Our first stop was PUMA AWD off-roading.
This was awesome. A 1-mile course with 15 different obstacles.

This is a two-person activity. We rode it twice so that we could both get a chance to drive.

Next was Hawk zip-lining.
This was really fun also. I just wished it was longer. You ride to one tower then you have the option to ride back.
We stopped for a snack and then headed to Dragon Fly.
I was afraid that I might get motion sickness from this but I didn't and it was extremely fun. I can see why a lot of people love this activity. Pretty much it's like drifting but on water.
Baracuda was next.
Class 2 & 3 river rafting. This was a blast also but does require a lot of work though.
We ended finished 4 of the 6 activities before 2 pm. It was pretty empty at the park so we didn't have to wait long for any of the activities. The two activities that we missed were Kayaking and the rope course. By the time we got around to the ropes course, it was too hot in the day to do it. There are 4 levels and takes about 45 mins per level. So we skipped it and took the early bus back to the hotel.

We hit the pool until it was time for dinner at San Telmo.
Warm house bread with herb butter.
Two kinds of Empanadas. One meat and the other cheese.
Argentinean-style sausage.
San Telmo Salad: arugula, blue cheese, grilled pear, artichoke, and spring beans with a garlic vinaigrette.
Son ordered the optional Tiger Prawns.
House Rib-eye with fries and truffled mashed potatoes.
Overall the Steakhouse was okay. I think the Italian restaurant Trattoria is better.
After dinner we hung out on the lobby and drank the night away.
That ends day 3. One more night left.
