Portland, OR: John's Bachelor party

Arrived in Portland late at night due to a delayed flight. Didn't get to the house to drop off my bags until 11:30 pm. Pretty much dropped off my stuff and met up with the guys at a bar that they were at. I had a lot of catching up to do.

Pretty much drank the night away. Ended up getting some late night eats and headed back to the house to drink some more.

Jack was pretty burnt out from work the night before and he was one of the first to arrive in Portland.

Eventually people started knocking out.

I guess Armen rallied a bit.

Finish up the last of the alcohol.

Ended up staying up until 8 am. Time for bed.

Didn't wake up until 2 pm. Luckily there was a ramne joint around the corner from the house.

Akasaru Ramen

Chicken Karaage & Gyoza... They were okay.

Spicy Coconut Miso Ramen... It was okay tasting. Not worth a second visit.

Pretty much headed back to the house to continue my sleep. I was so tired. Got up around 8 pm and looked a for a place to have dinner and drinks.

The home we rented was conveniently located to a lot of local bars and restaurants. So we just walked to a place nearby.

We originally tried to eat at Expatriate but it was closed. So we headed across the street to Wilder.

Tamarind Fuego: Serrano infused tequila, tamarind puree, honey, lime.

Classic Old Fashion

French Fries with Herbs de Provence served with roasted garlic aioli and house made ketchup.

Wilder Fried Chicken: two boneless breasts, fried crispy, with a honey-bourbon glaze and smashed potatoes.

The chicken was okay, but the honey-bourbon glaze was really good.

By the time we finished dinner and closed down the restaurant our friend Phil finally arrived in Portland. We headed back to the house dropped off somethings and headed out for drink until 2 am. Just a lot of drinking for nights 1 & 2.
