South Lake Tahoe Day 1: Zephyr Cove & The Oyster Bar @ Hard Rock Hotel

Rented a cabin in South Lake Tahoe for a quick getaway for my birthday.

Check-in was later in the evening so we headed to Zephyr Cove Resort for some beach and booze.

It was packed at Zephyr Cove. There was no parking available and we had to park along the street.

I only saw one cocktail server working the beach and with that many people on the beach, you were better off getting your own drinks. The bar is pretty empty. We visited the bar on several occasions.

Some snacks to hold us over until dinner.

Around 4 pm we headed to the cabin.

The cabin was even better than I had hoped for. Very spacious and well equipped with everything that we needed.

Our grocery list for out stay.

After getting groceries and settling in, we headed to the Hard Rock for dinner.

They had Pan Roast at The Oyster Bar

House Roast: which had crab, shirmp, & lobster. It was delicious.

We were so tired from the long drive and drinking at the beach all day. Called it a night and will start off strong in the morning.
