Phillip and I slept in until 2 pm. Most of the group had already met for lunch.
Phillip and I headed down to the pool buffet for lunch.
There was more of a variety at the pool buffet vs the lobby buffet but the food was still mediocre in my opinion.
Chips and cheese. You can never go wrong.
Fried chicken, taco, mini chimichanga.
They were making pork tacos which were pretty good.
Phillip and I ended up making a spa reservation at 4:30 pm. It was a 75-minute massage for $45. The spa facility is nothing special but the service was great and the price was cheap.
After our massage, we met up with the group for some drinks.
At sunset, we went back to our rooms to get ready before we head back to the boardwalk.
We all met up in the lobby for some drinks before we headed out.
We headed back to the boardwalk looking for the night market but it looks like it was held on a Saturday instead of Friday.
So we ventured out looking for a place to eat.
We were going to head back to Pancho's Takos, but didn't want to deal with the line. A local couple recommended that we check out Sonorita Olas Altas. Since there wasn't a long wait and it was just around the corner from where we were at.
Service and food was great.
After dinner called it a night. Didn't really do much on this night, but tomorrow we'll hit the night market.
