The view from our condo rental. Location was great. There were a bunch of restaurants, bars, clubs and shopping were located all within walking distance.
Got up and headed out to breakfast. We decided on Fable.
Scrambled eggs with sauteed spinach, bacon, & Parmesan foam; Fable brioche & potatoes.
Pulled Pork Johnny Cakes: apple puree, pickled jalapenos, and added a soft boiled egg.
Some fresh jam that they offered for the toast. It was delicious.
Got some chocolate toffee cookies with our bill.
After breakfast we still had some time to burn, so we walked up the street about 2 blocks and ended up at 49th Parallel Coffee if you're looking for the building also look for Lucky's Doughnuts
We were full from breakfast, so we didn't get to try any of the doughnuts.
Left-Venezuelan Coffee: caramelized milk reduction, served with espresso and texturized milk. Right-Latte.
Headed back to our condo to get ready for the wedding. Met up with the rest of the wedding party at the brides hotel which was 2 blocks away.
After the wedding party was assembled, we headed to the reception. Which was held at Teahouse located in Stanley Park
The best man Brandon & Tina.
We got to the Teahouse around 4 pm and everything was set up by friends and family in less than 2 hours. The reception started around 6 pm.
The bride and groom Eden & Alison.
Manhattan Clam Chowder
Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms: crab, shrimp, cream cheese
7 oz. Grass Fed Tenderloin.
White chocolate cheesecake.
After the reception. The wedding party headed to Republic Nightclub which was around the corner from the condo which was great.
Was out all night until 3 am and on my way back to the condo there were a few food stalls that were still open for late night grub.
That's it for day 2. Tomorrow we explore the city.
