Vegas Superbowl 2013 Day 1

It's has become a tradition for us to head to Vegas for the Superbowl weekend. It's our 4th year. It was even more special being that the Niners made it to the Superbowl.


A quick stroll through the airport and a 30 minute wait to board the plane.

We took the earliest flight out. We wanted to get started in Vegas as early as possible.

This month on the cover of Skymall.

Had some free drink tickets that I haven't used in a while. Time to put them to use.


Vegas. We meet again.


A quick limo ride from the airport to MGM.






Surprisingly our room was available on Saturday morning.


After settling in for a bit we headed down to the casino floor.

Pulled a few slots, but it just ate our money.


Took a break from gambling to eat. Our first meal usually starts The Grand Wok if were staying at MGM.

Pad Thai. Ehh... I have had better.

Walnut shrimp. This was awesome.

Fried rice. We mixed this with the crumbs from the calamari. Awesome!



Played at the electronic craps for quite some time. Super fun. Phillip and I went on a rolling streak.

Okay. We are hungry again. Nathan's Chili Cheese dog and fries.

Back to slots. The bonuses didn't pay out so well this trip.





I don't know where the time went, but it was time to get ready for the club.



We usually don't go to Vegas on a Saturday, but since we were there we wanted to check out Tao since it is only open Thurs-Sat. We used to go there all the time, but it's been a while.

We ended up getting a table upstairs for a very low minimum.






It's very early. The place was not that busy at the moment.




It's been a while since all the brother were out on a trip.




Slowly getting there.



Since we have been going to Marquee the past we trips. I didn't realize how small Tao was compared to Marquee. We walked around Tao, but that took literally minutes.





There was a person in a Tiger suit dancing around.



Tao eventually packed out.





For the first time ever. We couldn't finish all of our bottles. Most of the group was pretty wasted.


We headed out and jumped on a shuttle.


Time warp to later in the night. We are at McDonalds. I love the McGriddle.

That's it for today. Not as super wasted as I would have liked, but good enough for the first night.
