No Zip-line for you.

I heard there is free zip lining in San Francisco for a few days. Some people are promoting British Columbia and have set up a Zip Line at Justen Herman Plaza in San Francisco. They are here till April 18th. My only chance to ride the zip line was Thursday. So Peter, John and I attempted to drive up after work to try to get a ride in. They stop at 7pm.
Took 280 most of the way. Just a bit of traffic but not that bad.

We arrived around 6:15pm. Found out that they open up at 10am and they hand out wrist bands that are pretty much reservations to return to ride the Zip-Line. They give out 500 a day and people line was before they open to just get the wrist band. I mean zip lining in S.F sounds awesome but not something that I would line up early for. So we did not get a chance to ride the Zip-Line.

Here's a video of someone riding the Zip Line.

After seeing it in person. It was a lot smaller than I expected.

Here's the water fountain of whatever you want to call it. You can see this water fountain in the movie Bedazzled with Elizabeth Hurley and Brendan Fraser.

So since we wasted out time to go up to S.F we decided to drop by pier 39 for some food.

We decided on Bubba Gumps. The food is alright, but for some reason I always get drawn back to place when I'm at pier 39. I guess it's a novelty thing.

Not really Forest Gump, but he sure can run.

John had Coconut Shrimp. I didn't get a chance to take pics of mine or Peter's food cause by the time I realized it we had already finished our food.

So after dinner I had to have a Strawberry Waffle Cone Sunday.

Here's a video of someone riding the Zip Line.

It sucked that we didn't' get to ride the Zip Line. So if your planning to ride the Zip Line. I suggest you get there earlier to obtain your wrist band. If not don't bother going.

Pismo/Oceano Dunes ATVing videos

Went to Pismo Beach (aka: Oceano Dunes) on Easter weekend. It ended up being cold and windy on Sunday and it rained like no other on Sunday night.

Here are some tips/checklist if you plan on traveling to Pismo/Oceano Dunes for some atving.

-AWD vehicle is a must. I wouldn't bother going without one.
-lower you tire pressure to 20 for better traction if you tend to get stuck.
-bring shovels to dig out your tires
-tarps are good for blocking wind and great for putting under tires when you get stuck.
-There's use to be a stream/creek that you would have to cross to get to the atv area but the river is practically non-existent now.
-tents
-sleeping bags
-firewood
-shovels
-bungee cords
-water and firewood can be purchased from the trucks that bring them out to the beach. I think it's 50 cents a gallon of water.

You can also rent atvs if you don't have one. It's a blast to go riding there and the dunes are practically endless. Check out the videos below.
